Durante una cerimonia che si è tenuta nel corso del festival Small Press Expo a Bethesda, in Maryland sono stati assegnati gli Ignatz Awards 2022, così intitolati in omaggio al topo della famosa striscia Krazy Kat di George Herriman. I premi sono i più importanti riconoscimenti dedicati al fumetto indipendente americano.
